How to Listen
We offer our audio content in four ways:
1. Podcasting (RSS Syndication) - Subscribe for free to our audio content through our podcasting RSS feed. Simply copy and paste this Web address (http://www.capitolhillbaptist.org/feed/podcast/) into your podcasting software (such as iTunes under the Advanced -Subscribe to Podcast menu option) or RSS Reader. This feed will automatically push our audio content to your computer when we add content to our site. All CHBC audio content including sermons, Henry Forums, and bonus talks will be added to the feed. For more on podcasting see this wikipedia article.
2. Listen online – Click the Play button on an audio page to hear the sermon played from your computer using the embedded Flash player. The mp3 file will download progressively as the audio content is played.
3. Download – Click on the Download above the audio content title to download the .mp3 audio file to your computer. Depending on your browser settings, if you left click, the file may begin playing in your media player. To ensure download, right click on the Download link and choose either Save Target As of Save Link As to download the file onto your hard drive. You can also download sermon summaries by clicking on the Download link after the word Summary.
4. Order CDs – Church members can order CDs or tapes for pickup at the church bookstall though an online form. Everyone can make and distribute as many CDs as they wish or purchase CDs and tapes at the church bookstall.
