Junior High

At an age when the fruits of instruction emerge with increasing definition, junior high students at CHBC receive biblical teaching primarily from their parents. Parents serve as the chief pipeline of instruction from God to child, impacting their children as they themselves are impacted by the ministry of the Word. We teach that junior high students are to come to all church services they can, engage mentally with the teaching they receive, and respond to the guidance of both church and parent with joyful obedience.

For specific activities, we have a Sunday School class for junior high students in which they learn to inductively study the Bible and apply its truth to everyday life. Outside of church, students have gathered from time to time to play walleyball, eat burgers, and bike across the mid-Atlantic states. It is our hope that this blend of teaching and fun produces students well equipped to worship the God who reigns.
