Many churches have lists of programs to help you connect with others in the congregation. You won’t find much of that here. Instead, we are an unapologetically relationship-driven church. If you ask “how do I get involved,” we won’t point you to programs but people. In the links to the right, you'll find the main ways that we encourage newcomers to connect with the people of CHBC, as we seek to live out the relational model of the New Testament church.
Born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, Caleb Morell grew up as a missionary kid in Stockholm, Sweden. He became a member of CHBC when he moved to DC to attend Georgetown University in 2012. After graduating, Caleb completed the Pastoral Internship program at CHBC and worked in college ministry with Campus Outreach DC from 2016 to 2019. Caleb married his college-sweetheart, Clare, and lives with her and their many books on Capitol Hill. In addition to working as Mark Dever’s personal assistant, Caleb is also completing his Master of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. When not working, he enjoys coffee, working out, and reading.
