Welton serves as the Church Planting Resident and Senior Pastoral Assistant of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. A Lancaster Bible College graduate, Dr. Bonner holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Capital Seminary and Graduate School. For seven years, he pastored in the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, DC, and in the Lord’s timing, plans to return to the same area to plant Eastside Community Church. He and his wife Kacie live and minister on Capitol Hill. They have four children: Elijah, Torah, Moses, and Eden.
