Many churches have lists of programs to help you connect with others in the congregation. You won’t find much of that here. Instead, we are an unapologetically relationship-driven church. If you ask “how do I get involved,” we won’t point you to programs but people. In the links to the right, you'll find the main ways that we encourage newcomers to connect with the people of CHBC, as we seek to live out the relational model of the New Testament church.
Taylor grew up in Memphis, TN and attended the University of Mississippi where she pursued a degree in Accounting. The Lord in His kindness saved her after college through hearing the gospel while attending a church in Memphis. During this time, God grew her desire and love for the local church, and she began working as the business administrator and accountant for Harvest Church in Memphis.. After visiting the city and CHBC, Taylor moved to D.C. in 2017 where she began working for Museum of the Bible. During this season, God confirmed her passion for people and His Word. She began her M.A. in Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in January 2019. Her desire is to encourage believers in the local church or missionaries in crisis with the hope that is found in Christ alone.
