Many churches have lists of programs to help you connect with others in the congregation. You won’t find much of that here. Instead, we are an unapologetically relationship-driven church. If you ask “how do I get involved,” we won’t point you to programs but people. In the links to the right, you'll find the main ways that we encourage newcomers to connect with the people of CHBC, as we seek to live out the relational model of the New Testament church.
Tina grew up in a military family. In her teens, she clearly heard the Gospel message and started reading the Bible for the first time in her life. Through the preaching and reading of God’s word, she trusted in Jesus for salvation and was transformed by His grace. She met her husband, Chad, in college, and they have two daughters. They served with the International Mission Board in India and Jordan before moving to DC and becoming members of CHBC. Tina graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Religious Studies and is graduating in May 2023 with her M.A. in Christian Counseling.
